very interesting, I would like to comment that an anonymous hacker was tracked back after he defaced a website and uploaded his girlfriends photo. They were able to extract the exif data as it was the original photo.
twitter (tested it on photobucket & yfrog) also facebook extract exif data.
i took a photo on the iphone with location services disabled and was still able to get the GPS coordinates when extracting the exif data.
so watch out when sending the original picture :)
