Description: In this megaprimer I'm going to talk about cryptography and cryptanalysis. First we will discover some basic algorithms and after some time, we will come to more difficult and stronger algorithms. I'm going to explain the algorithms and math behind them in detail, but for the beginning we will only look at easy methods of encrypting texts and data.
I'm also planning to add some coding in the primer (probably C or Java) and we will look at some open-source projects.
Because of my bad english, this megaprimer will be in german (maybe I'm going to translate it some day). I also want to apologize the bad sound of the first part (I recorded from the wrong microphone...), the sound will be better in the next parts.
Hope you enjoy the primer and please leave some comments here.

Very Nice! Though I don't speak German I could follow most of it using the text on the powerpoint. Look forward to more videos from you :)
Programming demos along with sample code is most welcome! I think this is a key thing teachers miss out in crypto. Without programming many of these algos just remain misunderstood.
Yes, you need a better microphone :)
Thanks for taking your time posting this cool video. It's kind of hard to follow up with you in German, Can you post the link yo your powerpoint file ? so that we can translate it to English.
Please make an effort to do the videos on English or at least the powerpoint presentations.
Try in English so that people can learn from your megaprimer and don't be afraid of your accent or anything like that just try it.
And as Vivek, says try a better microphone or reduce the gain of the one you have now so that the video could be hear better.
Hey guys,
sure, the microphone on my webcam is much better (But I inadvertently has enabled the microphone, which was lying on the floor...). I'm just uploading part 2 (Transposition Theory) and will post the part here soon. (I will also post the powerpoints here then). Beginning from part3 I will make the powerpoints in english and maybe try to translate the videos (my english is really not good, but I have lern it ;) ).
nice effort..but again language is problem...Can anyone translate it into english ??
@Juggl3r
Thanks. Can you make subtitles available if any?
@Juggl3r: Wenn du möchtest, können wir zusammen arbeiten und ich könnte dir beim Übersetzen etwas behilflich sein. Ich würde mich freuen. (I just asked him whether I could/should help him with translating the presentations.)
@Moon_DE Ja sehr gerne, kannst mich gerne per Skype adden (name: juggl3r2) oder per Facebook: René Freingruber oder falls du nichts davon hast, schreib nochmals, dann finden wir schon eine Möglichkeit.
@HkOfTn:
Maybe, I'm going to google a little bit around and search for a good solution. Maybe I will also post the video in english too, but I think my presentation skills in english are not so good, but I will give it a try.
The ppts are available with this link:
