Description: In this tutorial we examine basic blocks and get percentage matches(or fuzzy percentage matches) to arrive at our goal of a completely populated function map list. As always thank you for listening and please do comment. If yhe vimeo view is fuzzy, download the original or follow along in my source on github(aking1012/bindiff-ruby). Thanks for listening. Just so folks know, I stalled on the code for the ruby differ. There are various reasons. Some are here: http://vimeo.com/20530554 . Others include that I am getting tired of fighting ruby dynamic typing despite implicit nil type declarations and more. I may be switching to python soon as I was just turned down for a job by Rapid7. Python doesn't have near the issues of ruby on using binary data types. This tutorial will continue, but my focus is not in this area at the moment.
